We’re in the home stretch, folks.

After months of speculation and predictions and some exciting series, the teams are ready for the 2024 World Series.

Game 1 of the Fall Classic begins on Friday, October 25th between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers secured their spot in the series after suffering a devastating loss to the New York Mets in Game 6 of the NLCS on Sunday night. Their World Series opponent was already decided after the Yankees defeated the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS in just five games.

If the Yankees manage to win, it would be their first World Series win since 2009. The Dodgers, on the other hand, enjoyed glory just a few years ago when they won the World Series in 2020.

This will be the 12th time the two powerful organizations have faced off in the World Series, but their last meeting at the Fall Classic came in 1981.

Needless to say, the stakes are high.
