Working Family Tax Credit available to eligible households

The Washington State Department of Revenue’s Working Families Tax Credit provides payments of up to $1,255 for low- to moderate-income individuals and families.

Applications can be submitted online to the state for up to three years from the due date of the federal tax return.

The payments can be used for any purpose.

According to the IRS, many eligible households in Spokane County have not applied for the credit.
