In the second half, the Bearcats had more shots on goal than St. Bona (6:1).

“We can be happy with a lot of things but we were a little disappointed with the final result,” said Bhattacharjee. “I’m glad that we recovered so quickly after the unfortunate result of the last game and kept our focus even after conceding a goal. We played well at times in the first half and then the second 45 minutes were very strong in which we created a lot of quality chances which led to a good goal. We were probably unlucky not to score more goals to win. But we know that if we play at this high level throughout the game, good things will come our way.”

Binghamton will play its first home game on Thursday afternoon, welcoming Monmouth to the Bearcats Sports Complex.
