Women’s golf announces schedule for 2024-25

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Head Coach of the Charlotte Women’s Golf Team Ryan Ashburn has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024–25 season. Jette Schulze, Ilani Kurz, Mia Gray, Caroline JohnsonAnd Marina by Polina are the five returnees from last season. Pinky Chaisilprungruang And Ting Uang will begin their first season in 2024–25.

We are very excited about this season’s schedule! It includes several new tournaments and venues this year as we continue to compete against some of the best programs in the country. We have a great mix of returning players and newcomers who are already meshing well together. We are looking forward to a great season!

TRAPS
Charlotte opens the fall portion of the schedule on Monday (Aug. 26) with the Tiger Classic at Clemson, a one-day, 36-hole tournament. On Sept. 8-10, the Niners will compete in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. To close out September, Charlotte travels to Charlottesville, Virginia, for the UVA Regional Preview on Sept. 23-24.

On October 7-8, Ashburn and her team will head north to Columbus, Ohio, to compete in the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, hosted by Ohio State. A week later, CLT will travel to Savannah, Georgia, to play The Southern at Savannah Golf Club (October 14-15). The final tournament of the fall schedule is the Mercedes-Benz Championship at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee, October 20-22.

SPRING
The spring season opens with the Daniel Island Invitational (February 24-25) in Charleston, South Carolina. The next two tournaments will take place in the Sunshine State of Florida: Momentum Transportation (March 3-4) at Jacksonville Country Club and the Gators Invitational (March 7-9) at Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville.

Charlotte returns to the state of North Carolina on March 21 and 22 to compete in the City of Oaks Collegiate at Lonnie Poole Golf Club in Raleigh. The final tournament of the regular season is the Coach Mo Invitational on March 31 at St. John’s Golf and Country Club in St. Augustine, Florida.st and 1 Aprilst.

The 2025 AAC Championship will be played April 14-16 at Southern Hills Country Club in Brooksville, Florida. NCAA regional play will be May 5-7 and the national championship will be May 16-21 at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
