The Bay Area remained on schedule Thursday morning, enduring strong winds and lower humidity through Friday, weather conditions that have led to severe fires and the likelihood of planned power shutdowns in several areas of the region.

“Everything is still on track,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Matt Mehle. “We will see the winds increase as we get closer to Thursday night.”
