The action has begun at the Champ de Mars arena in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games, when the world’s best wrestlers compete from August 5 to 11.

The first days of competition feature women’s Greco-Roman and freestyle bouts, with wrestlers working their way through their respective weight classes.

The goal is to win gold, and one of the most watched competitions on the opening days of wrestling at the Olympics is the women’s 50 kg freestyle event.

Also in the group is Team USA’s Dom Parrish. Parrish was defeated by Japan’s Akari Fujinami in the first session, but could return to the repechage if Fujinami wins her semifinal match.
