What happens to all the vampires in Salem’s possession after the 2024 film

Salem’s property sees the efforts of Ben Mears (Lewis Pullman) and other townspeople to get rid of the vampires plaguing Lot, but Barlow’s death did not mean the end of the vampires. Stephen King’s novels continue to be a great source of inspiration for many filmmakers, but the film adaptation of Salem’s property went through many obstacles and delays before it was finally released on Max. Salem’s property was King’s second published novel and has become one of his most popular and popular stories. After two TV adaptations, the novel was finally made into a film.


Salem’s property takes viewers to the 1970s to meet writer Ben Mears, who returns to his hometown of Salem’s Lot to get inspiration for his next book. However, his arrival coincides with the disappearance of a young boy, but subsequent deaths and strange events lead some townspeople to a disturbing discovery: the Lot is being hunted by a bloodthirsty vampire named Barlow (Alexander Ward). Ben teams up with other residents to get rid of the vampires, but they may not have succeeded.

Daubermans Salem’s property made some changes to King’s book, including the final showdown between survivors Ben Mears and Mark Petrie (played in the film by Jordan Preston Carter). In the film, Mark, Ben and Dr. Cody (Alfre Woodard) finds out that the vampires are hiding in the trunks of cars at the drive-in and tricks them into coming out before sunset. Unfortunately, Cody is killed by Susan’s mother Anne and so on Ben and Mark confront the vampires and Barlow himself alone.

Thanks to its epilogue, the novel has a different and not so optimistic ending.

The prologue reveals that they escape to a coastal town in Mexico. However, the epilogue gives away Ben and Mark return to the Lot a year after these traumatic events with the intention of renewing the fight against the vampires since they were not completely defeated.

A deluxe edition of was released in 2005 Salem’s property contained two short stories: “Jerusalem’s Lot” and “One for the Road.” The former is a prequel set in 1850 and the latter is a sequel set two years after the events of Salem’s property and a year after Ben and Mark’s return. “One for the Road” follows Booth, a resident of a nearby town, as he explains this All residents near and around the Lot live in constant fear since vampires still live in the city.
