UPDATE 2:02 p.m. EST: According to the broadcast, Tony Pollard has cleared concussion protocol and returned to play for the Titans.

Early in the second quarter of his Week 7 game against the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard suffered a hard hit on a play in enemy territory. He seemed so upset that coaches had to help him on the field.

There is currently a lot of speculation Videos of the hard hitas it appeared Pollard’s head took the brunt of the blow.

Tennessee scored a touchdown on that drive with a pass from Mason Rudolph to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. Pollard remained on the sideline for the remainder of the drive.

His status is currently unclear. We will provide further updates as they arrive from the team.
