WEATHER + SUNRISE/SUNSET TIMES

CLOSURES AT SPOKANE ST. VIADUCT

We are waiting for this week’s full schedule for the Spokane Street Viaduct Resurfacing project following the road closure last weekend (which, unlike the previous weekend, lasted until the early hours of Monday morning).

FURTHER NOTES ON ROADWORKS

*Today is the first possible day of a change in the East Marginal Way S. project that is particularly significant for people who cycle between downtown and West Seattle:

WHAT: Updated detour route for cyclists on East Marginal Way S

WHEN: Starts on August 12th and lasts several weeks

WHERE: Bicyclists will be directed onto E Marginal Way S, on temporary protected bike lanes from S Spokane St to just north of the Terminal 30 parking lot at approximately S Stacy St. At the T30/S Stacy St parking lot, people will be directed back onto the existing bike lanes and sidewalk on the west side of the street. Please note that the T30 parking lot is south of the main T30 entrance.

*The Admiral Way Bridge The seismic project is underway. Fairmount Avenue will be closed under the bridge for the duration of the project, at least until early 2025. Lane closures have also begun on the upper deck.

*The Delridge Pedestrian Bridge Seismic Safety Project will also continue, with a narrowing at the Delridge/Oregon location.

*Beach Drive: Gas line work continues in some locations along the southbound stretch. Watch for no-parking zones and steel plates and flag posts.

Delridge cameras: In addition to the camera below (Delridge/Genesee), there are also cameras in Delridge/Juneau, Delridge/Henderson, Delridge/Oregon (video only, so you have to go to the map), Delridge/Holden and Delridge/Thistle.
