WEST INDIES U19 WOMEN’S SQUAD ANNOUNCED FOR UK TOUR AS PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR ICC U19 CRICKET WORLD CUP 2025

St. John’s, Antigua – Cricket West Indies (CWI) is delighted to announce the selection of the West Indies Women’s Under-19 team for the upcoming tour of the United Kingdom. This tour is a crucial part of the team’s preparation for the ICC Women’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup to be held in Malaysia in January 2025.

The tour will see the team take part in a number of highly competitive matches, including an England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) development tournament, which will feature teams from Scotland and Ireland, with the West Indies Under 19 Women’s team guaranteed three T20 matches. In addition, three matches are scheduled against an ECB Southern Under 19 Women’s Regional team, consisting of two days of T20 doubles and a 30-over match on the third day.

The team, led by co-captains Asabi Callender and Erin Deane, represents the best young talent in West Indian women’s cricket. The players have shown great potential and are expected to gain valuable experience on this tour as they prepare for the world stage.
