FORECAST

Good day!

The highly advertised cold front has moved through the area, producing wind gusts in excess of 25 to 30 miles per hour so far this Wednesday. While winds ease this afternoon, persistent gusts, dry air and dry vegetation are creating elevated fire conditions today. Avoid burns outdoors!

However, temperatures will be very pleasant this afternoon, reaching highs of up to 70 degrees in San Antonio. That’s about 20 degrees cooler than Tuesday afternoon!

Winds will ease this evening and dry air will cause temperatures to drop. Thursday morning we will be in the low 50s and high 40s. You might want to break out this jacket!

Friday and Saturday will be slightly warmer, but additional clouds will keep it fairly mild. We still have a slight chance of rain forecast for Friday and Saturday, but don’t get your hopes up. If we see anything at all, it’s bright and shouldn’t have any real impact.
