Weather in Metro Detroit: It’s breezy and warm today

After morning rain, the rest of Tuesday will remain partly sunny. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s, nearly 20° warmer than average. The record high temperature of 77° is in danger Tuesday as a high of 78° is forecast in Detroit.

Winds have already increased, with gusts around 25 miles per hour. It will remain windy during the day and night until Thursday. Wind gusts will be strongest Thursday afternoon/evening, with gusts around 35 mph across the city.

Cloud cover will increase Wednesday and highs will be in the upper 70s. The record high temperature of 76° is in jeopardy on Wednesday as another high of 78° is forecast in Detroit.

A cold front arrives on Thursday, bringing showers from late morning into the afternoon. Showers should be finished before trick-or-treaters head out for the evening. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s and it will be breezy for trick-or-treaters.

It will be cooler to start the weekend, with high temperatures in the mid 50s.
