    While they weren’t expected to beat ranked opponents Alabama and USC at the start of the season, they didn’t make a convincing impression in wins over Western Michigan and South Dakota either.

    Maybe this is the week that changes.

    The Badgers host 1-3 Purdue on Saturday. The Boilermakers haven’t won since beating Indiana State in the season opener. Since then, they have averaged just 12.6 points in three losses.

    Wisconsin quarterback Braedyn Locke often struggled after being pushed into the starring role against Alabama and USC due to Tyler Van Dyke’s ACL injury. This could be the day he finds his rhythm.
