The group even paid homage to the original film’s “Banana Boat (Day-O)” scene during their performance, with the band also being possessed by a collection of mischievous spirits that made them all dance jerkily in unison to the song.

Clarkson also tried her best to evoke Michael Keaton’s husky Beetlejuice tone as she spoke, turning to bandmate Jessi Collins, dressed as Lydia, and asking, “Hey, do you come here often?”

After the performance, Clarkson greeted the show’s audience and acknowledged it Beetlejuice The theme extended to much more than just her opening number. “It’s showtime,” she began. “Happy Halloween.
