The Atlanta Falcons defense has faltered but has not collapsed so far in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Safety Jessie Bates prevented a touchdown in the third quarter by running at Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith and thwarting the pass attempt on third down.
