Wasim Akram’s wife teases Pakistani bowling star with his bald head picture on his wedding day | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Former Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram and his wife Shaniera Akram recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on August 19, 2024.
The couple, known for their active presence on social media, marked the occasion with a public declaration of love and appreciation, marked by their typical humor.
Shaniera kicked off the online celebration with a playful dig at her husband, posting a hilarious edited picture of Wasim Akram on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a caption that mixed light-hearted teasing with genuine affection.

While jokingly commenting on her husband’s appearance, she expressed her gratitude for his presence in her life and declared him to be her “world.”
Wasim Akram responded with his own heartfelt tribute.

“Happy anniversary my baby @wasimakramlive – Thank you for everything you are and everything you give to my life. You are my world and after 11 years you still look as good as the day I met you. You haven’t changed a bit!!!!” she later posted.
To make up for the initial playful trolling, Shaniera later shared a more flattering, recent photo of Wasim Akram, in which she reaffirmed her love and emphasized the importance of his eternal smile.

“Happy anniversary to the love of my life @iamshaniera. I have become a better person with you in my life. You are the gift that never fails to bring joy to not only me but everyone around you. Your positive energy is so contagious that it cheers up everyone around you and shines everywhere you go. So I thank you and God Almighty for having you as my wife, partner and best in my life,” Akram wrote.
Wasim Akram is considered one of the best bowlers in cricket History, retired from professional cricket in 2003. He holds numerous records, including being the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in One Day Internationals.
