The website was closed shortly after Boomerang was banned

Recently, it was reported that Warner Bros. Discovery is shutting down the Boomerang streaming service. The company notified subscribers that Boomerang will stop streaming on September 30th, and its content and subscribers will be integrated directly into Max from that point onwards. As the streaming war continues to be fiercely competitive, these moves seem to be designed not only to cut costs but also to boost subscriber numbers on the Max streaming service. Boomerang has been active for seven years. The standalone streamer focused primarily on classic animated films and offered titles such as Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Scooby Dooand other.

Fans unhappy with this decision may also no longer be able to trust Max to continue offering classic animated series. The streamer is known for removing classic animated series from the Max library and once came under fire for removing hundreds of Looney Tunes Episodes along with 80 episodes of The Flintstones.
