Every year, TV brands update their range with the latest models, but there is not always progress in terms of specifications or technology. The previous generation devices are gradually discontinued, but often differ little from the new generation and end up being sold at reduced prices.

2023 brought a staggering number of TVs, with serious advances in QD-OLED (so much so that OLED seemed to be dying at one point) and even brighter and punchier traditional OLEDs thanks to the introduction of microlens array (MLA) technology and even more powerful processors. Mini-LED also reached new heights with brighter panels than ever before and more advanced backlighting, and there were even some surprises in regular QLED TVs.
