The Northeast has been producing some really good talent lately. Cooper Flagg of Maine is currently a freshman at Duke University and the top prospect in the class of 2025 is AJ Dybansta of Brockton, Massachusetts. Another prospect in the class of 2025, Ryder Frost of Exeter, New Hampshire, has narrowed his list down to eight schools and has a series of recruiting visits planned for this fall.

Ryder Frost, ranked 126th on the 2025 recruiting prospect list according to 247Sports, has narrowed his list of schools to eight, including Virginia Tech. The other seven schools are Syracuse, Notre Dame, Iowa, BYU, Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan.

Frost will take an official visit to Blacksburg from August 25-27 and then visit Iowa, Michigan, Notre Dame and Wisconsin. Frost talked about the Hokies and how their first visit later this month,

“They’ve been super consistent and are the first visit at the end of August. I’m super excited to go there and see how they do things. I can really come in and play in that style and really make an impact. I’m super excited about the visit in a couple of weeks.”

So far, head coach Mike Young has received commitments from four-star center Christian Gurdak and three-star forward Sin’Cere Jones for the class of 2025. There are other recruits in the class of 2025 who will also be visiting Virginia Tech in the fall, and Frost will begin taking visits in a few weeks.

Once again, the Hokies will compete with two ACC schools, Notre Dame and Syracuse, as well as some other strong programs in the Big Ten for Frost, who would be a nice addition to the Class of 2025.
