Tyrone Woods’ wedding to Faye Harris at Rolling Stones star Ronnie’s 200-acre estate – full album

Two music dynasties came together when the 40-year-old son of Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood married the 35-year-old daughter of Iron Maiden founder Steve Harris in August 2024.

After a civil ceremony in Marylebone, the couple – who met on celebrity dating app Raya in 2022 – gathered 180 of their friends and family at Ronnie’s home in County Kildare, Ireland, which he bought in 1991. Set on 80 acres of land, the property features a large main house, an indoor pool, several guest apartments and an art studio. It was here that Tyrone proposed to Faye in December 2023.

Sir Mick Jagger’s children Elizabeth and James, Keith Richards’ granddaughter Ella and Tyrone’s brother Jesse Wood and his wife Fearne Cotton gathered for the ceremony in the walled garden before heading to the luxury K Club hotel and golf resort for the reception. Sentimental venue

After enjoying cocktails from an outdoor bar adorned with Ronnie’s hand-painted sign, “The Wood Tavern,” guests took their seats on long wooden benches in the nearby walled garden at 3 p.m.

The couple turned to celebrity florist Nikki Tibbles’ “Wild at Heart” to enhance the wild landscape aesthetic with white and green flowers, fresh foliage, white ribbons and sheer silk.

“We wanted to have only neutral and white flowers in the garden. We wanted it to look like the flowers had always grown that way. We also wanted to have lots of foliage from the grounds,” explained Faye, who enlisted the help of Irish wedding planner Tara Fay Events.

While Tyrone explained that the place had sentimental value, Faye said it was also the perfect backdrop for photos. “When Ty called his dad and asked if we could get married in the house, he said, ‘I’ve always thought the garden would be a beautiful place to get married,'” she said.

“It’s set in the most spectacular scenery in Ireland. I don’t know how anyone could not love it here.”

Arrival of the groom

A nervous Tyrone waited for his bride to arrive at the altar in the photo. The co-founder of marine conservation organization Project Zero wore a green tailored suit by Ozwald Boateng.

He wasn’t the only emotional guest, as his mother Jo – who looked stunning in a plum silk suit by Galvan – burst into tears when she saw her son.

Wedding dress

For her grand entrance on the arm of her father Steve Harris, Faye looked stunning in an ivory silk wedding dress by New York designer Elizabeth Fillmore with a high-necked, crystal-embellished cape, Jimmy Choo shoes and a Jennifer Behr hairpiece.

Faye found her dream dress while shopping with her future mother-in-law at Browns Bride in London.

“Jo came with me to shop for clothes because my mother Lorraine was away,” said the founder of clean luxury perfume company Eauso Vert. “When I came out of the dressing room, everyone started crying. Jo said, ‘Oh my God, I have goosebumps.'”

Tyrone was overwhelmed with emotion and shed a tear when he saw his bride for the first time, describing her as “drop-dead gorgeous.”

Bridal Shower

Ronnie and Sally’s eight-year-old twins Gracie and Alice acted as flower girls alongside Jesse and Fearne’s eight-year-old daughter Honey. The trio looked adorable in matching pink jumpsuits from Reiss and white bow-embellished trainers from Next.

Maggie, 15, the daughter of Tyrone’s sister Leah, served as bridesmaid alongside Faye’s sisters, while ten-year-old Otis took on the important role of ring bearer.

Ronnie praised the young family members, saying: “Otis, who carried the rings, and the little flower girls were the highlight – they did an amazing job.”

They were joined by Faye’s maid of honour Alice and her bridesmaids: her sisters Lauren, Kerry and Maisie, her sister-in-law Natalie Harris, Tyrone’s niece Maggie and their friends Millie Poulter, Kirsty Gardner, Michelle Christle and Leeanna Fogden-Pitt.

They looked radiant in forest green silk slips by Pretty Lavish, while Tyrone’s three groomsmen, Tom Bosanquet, Charlie Ralston and Jake Morant, wore matching grey suits by Savile Row tailor Roderick Charles and green Nike Air Force 1 trainers.

Father of the bride

Moments earlier, Faye had enjoyed a private moment with her father, who wore a blue patterned suit by Twisted Tailor.

“I had this little moment with my dad as we were getting ready to go in. He put my veil in his arm because it was getting so windy and said, ‘Yeah, go ahead, I’ll take care of you.'”

ceremony

During the ceremony there was a ring warming where the wedding rings were passed around to the guests for blessings and a handfasting ceremony where Tyrone and Faye’s hands were tied together with four strands of light pastel colored ribbon.

The couple exchanged non-religious, traditional vows, but had written private vows that they plan to share with each other over the next year.

“We’re both introverted, private people and didn’t want to say our vows in front of everyone,” Faye said. “So we wrote them down and put them in a wine box with a nice bottle of red wine that we can open on our first anniversary and read our vows to each other.”

Reunion of the Rolling Stones

After the families of the Rolling Stones stars came together for a reunion, they captured the memory with a group photo.

The groom spoke about their relationship: “We are all very close. I see them as often as I can and love them very much. They are like my sisters and brothers. It means the world to us that they could come.”

At 6pm, the wedding party moved to the K Club where they enjoyed shared platters of chorizo and salami, grilled vegetables with artichokes and spicy peppers, and a choice of salads, followed by roasted chicken breast or cauliflower steak.

They sat at tables named after different trees to represent the Wood family on the outdoor patio of The Palmer restaurant, which was decorated with Happy Organics candles in long glass cases, green and white flowers from Wild at Heart and baskets of fresh fruit.

Speaking about his “nerve-wracking” speech, Tyrone said: “I hate public speaking. But I did it and apparently it was very good and emotional. I cried a lot.” Faye added: “I held myself together until he said I saved him and then I just freaked out and started crying.”

Intimate moments

Faye was holding Ronnie’s hand at the top table, surrounded by white flowers. They seemed to be deep in conversation, and Ronnie was probably welcoming her into the family.

Later, Faye slipped into a sparkling white sequin mini dress by Clio Peppiatt, with her husband’s name emblazoned on the hem as her “something blue.”

The newlyweds celebrated with their guests until just before 3am. Faye and Tyrone revealed that none of them played their fathers’ music. The guests were then invited to a barbecue by the pool at Sandymount House the next day.

The celebration, which lasted all weekend, left a lasting memory for several guests, including Faye’s new sister-in-law, Fearne Cotton. “I cried tears of joy when the sun came out at the end and Bob Marley played; it was heaven. I said to my children, ‘You can officially

auntie now’ and they’re very happy about it. She’s perfect,” said the host of “The Happy Place” podcast, wearing a green dress by Olivia Rubin and platform shoes by Terry de Havilland.

Meanwhile, Ronnie’s wife Sally – who looked chic in a floral dress by Queens of Archive – described the wedding as “very emotional”.

After two wedding celebrations in London and Ireland, Faye and Tyrone will now turn their attention to their future as husband and wife. The couple have made an offer on a house on the Essex-Hertfordshire border and said they want to start a family “immediately”.
