Ty Majeski wins Truck Series Pole Award for LiUNA! 175 at the Milwaukee Mile

For the fourth time this season, Ty Majeski wins the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Pole Award. This time at the Milwaukee Mile. Majeski has two consecutive wins to end the regular season and is now hoping for a third victory at the start of the playoffs.

Beating Ty Majeski at the Milwaukee Mile will be difficult for this Truck Series field. Not impossible, but difficult. Majeski runs the Father’s Day 100 at this track every year and has plenty of experience on the mile oval.

Majeski secured pole position ahead of Tanner Gray by just 0.021 seconds. The ThorSport driver was also the fastest in practice for the LiUNA! 175. It will be a great show tomorrow evening.

If Majeski wins in Milwaukee and extends his winning streak to three in a row, it would be the first three-pointer in a row in the Truck Series since Kyle Busch won four races in a row during the 2019 season.

This is the first race of the Truck Series Playoffs. From now on, everything is more important for the drivers involved. Of course, Ty Majeski is not going to walk away as the winner. At least, I don’t expect him to. Christian Eckes, Corey Heim, even Kaden Honeycutt could win this race.

The Milwaukee Mile has had good racing in the past. I think starting the playoffs here is a great idea. It’s a little annoying to have to compete with the Xfinity and Cup Series in Daytona, but it is what it is. Fans in and around Minnesota will be happy to have a little NASCAR racing in town.

Given Majeski’s recent good performances, I believe he will win this race. How easily he will do it remains to be seen, but his top training and qualifying speed should give him a lot of confidence.

Ty Majeski is the best short track driver in the Truck Series

If I had to pick a driver to win at a short track, I’d pick Ty Majeski every time. What he’s accomplished in the Super Late Models with the ASA Stars Tour can’t be overlooked. He regularly competes with some of the best short track drivers in the country, including Bubba Pollard.

There are riders who can beat Majeski on a short track. But he’s so damn good you can’t ignore him. He’s won at Bristol, twice at IRP and at Richmond. He’s finished in the top five several times at Richmond and Martinsville and has been fast at every track a mile or less.

Ty Majeski is from Wisconsin, that’s his territory. He’s not to be messed with this weekend. Given his background, his experience on the track and his pole position, I’d pick Majeski in a heartbeat.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series playoffs begin tomorrow. It will be an exciting battle for the championship. Let’s just hope for a better finale than last year in Phoenix.
