Two teenagers were shot and a woman was run over at a gas station in southeast Atlanta

Two teenagers were injured in a shooting near the corner of Flat Shoals Road and Fayetteville Road in southeast Atlanta on Monday evening.

Just after 9:15 p.m., officers were called to the corner gas station parking lot. According to Atlanta police, they found a 19-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

About 15 minutes later, police received a second call about a mile south on Fayetteville Road. Officers found a 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to her right knee. Investigators believe she was shot at the gas station and fled the scene looking for help. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Additionally, a woman was run over by another woman who was attempting to leave the scene in her vehicle. The woman suffered neck and rib injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The names of the people involved were not released. It was not immediately clear whether police were looking for one or more shooters. The case remains under investigation by APD’s Aggravated Assault Unit.
