The game between Georgia and Tennessee Tech is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 7th at 2:00 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.

Georgia opens the college football season on August 31 against the Clemson Tigers. Tennessee Tech, a member of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), begins its 2024 season on August 31 against Middle Tennessee.

Tennessee Tech is coming off a 4-7 season and has little chance of beating Georgia. The Golden Eagles could make it exciting for a quarter or two, but fans should expect Georgia to win this game. The Bulldogs should have a chance to use a lot of freshmen against Tennessee Tech.

Sanford Stadium in Georgia has a new official capacity, which will be used for the first time in the game against Tennessee Tech.
