Travis Kelce’s PR team has addressed the viral breakup between the NFL star and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The alleged contract – with the obvious Full Scope Public Relations logo on it – was published by Daily Mail on September 3 after it went viral in a now-deleted Reddit post. The documents claimed Kelce and Swift planned to announce their split on September 28, and claimed the statement would be released three days “after the split” to “let the initial media frenzy die down and provide clarity.”

However, Full Scope PR, which represents the Kansas City Chiefs star, has now revealed that this contract was fake. The company also clarified that Kelce and Swift, who have been together since 2023, do not plan to announce their separation.

“These documents are completely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency,” a representative of Full Scope PR said in a statement to The Independent.

The company admitted that it wants to find out who issued the fake document under the brand name.

“We have instructed our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or companies responsible for the unlawful and damaging forgery of documents,” the statement continued.

The Independent has reached out to representatives for Kelce and Swift for comment.

The beloved couple were first romantically linked last year after Kelce confessed in July 2023 that he had tried to give her a bracelet with his phone number on it during one of her Eras Tour shows, but failed. While she then publicly supported Kelce at his Chiefs game, she did not confirm the two were together until December 2023 in her interview with Time Magazine when she was named “Person of the Year” by the publication.

Kelce has also shown his support for Swift by attending more than 12 of her Eras Tour concerts since November. In June, he officially made his Eras Tour debut, surprising her with an onstage appearance during her show at Wembley Stadium in London.

The New heights Podcast host recently raved about his relationship with the singer of “All Too Well”. During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Kelce spoke about his girlfriend’s interest in football after teammate Patrick Mahomes said the Grammy winner was “already drawing up plays” for the team. When Eisen asked if Mahomes’ comments were true, Kelce said they were before explaining Swift’s method of understanding how football works.

“She was just so open to learning the game – she didn’t know much about the rules and everything,” he explained. “I think what makes her so good at her job is that she’s so detailed in every aspect, from the lyrics to the music to the releases to the music videos. She’s so detailed, I think she was just curious about the job.”

He added that Swift’s plays “haven’t made their way to Coach Reid yet,” but he will update everyone after the fact when the team completes a play Swift made. Kelce, however, admitted that the plays were “a little biased” and intended for him.

In another part of the interview, he talked about his appearance at their show in London this summer and the preparations he had to make for it.

“Taylor knew I was going to have fun when the lights came up and she put me in a position where I didn’t have to do much to make it a success. She put me in a really enjoyable part of the show,” he explained. “I’m always ready to have some fun with Tay Tay on stage.”
