WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin announced her sudden exit from the company in a post shared to her Instagram account on Monday (October 21), hours before the live episode of Monday Night RAW.

“WWE Universe, my time as your Monday Night Raw Ring announcer has come to an end,” she wrote. “I love you all immensely and this does not mean the end of my art, I still have a lifetime to share with you. Thank you to every WWE fan who accepted me.”

Irvin, 35, real name Samantha JohnsonHe was hired by WWE as a ring announcer in 2021 205 Live show and later NXT before you get promoted Smack down in 2022 and moved RAW in 2023. Irvin served as the sole ring announcer for all 14 matches WrestleMania XLreceived praise from the legendary boxing and WCW ring announcer Michael Buffer and former WWE ring announcer Lillian Garcia.

Irvin is engaged to a former WWE wrestler Bounce who was recently granted his release from the company and made his debut in rival promotion All Elite Wrestling last month, leading to unconfirmed speculation about their future endeavors.

“To my fans, I’ve been waiting for you my whole career! We are meant to be and I can prove it. Stay tuned,” Irvin wrote in her Instagram post.
