Tom Holland gave a slight teaser about it Spider Man 4 This week he revealed that he and his co-star and girlfriend Zendaya had reviewed a draft of the film’s script.

“We have a creative, pitch and draft that is excellent,” Holland told the Rich Roll podcast on Thursday. “It still needs work, but the writers are doing a great job and I read it three weeks ago. It really lit a fire in me.”

Holland held back on the specific details of the project, but emphasized that it is still a long way from full production. “Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we were sometimes jumping around the living room thinking, ‘This is a real movie that deserves the fans’ respect,'” he added. “But there are a few things we need to figure out before we can really get this going, but it’s exciting and I’m really looking forward to it.”

The next episode of the Spider-Man The franchise remains one of the most anticipated films in the MCU. But as Holland mentioned, even these films remain “a small cog in a big machine, and that machine has to keep running,” which he said is a challenge.
