Acclaimed actor Tim Curry has barely been seen on screen since suffering a severe stroke in 2012. Since then, he has had a few roles, mostly voice acting, and played the narrator in the TV movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s travel back in time again as a nod to the role that made him a star. Now Curry is making a comeback in a new horror film called Electricity.

The author, director and producer of ElectricityMichael Leavy, is known for the insanely bloody Terrorbringer Movies. He said the film has been in the works for some time and it has been very difficult to keep Curry’s comeback a secret. He shared, “It’s been really hard to keep this secret and contain our excitement, especially for such a long period of time. We are so happy and thrilled to bring Tim back to the movies and back to the big screen! His charm always shines and shines through everything he does and we are so honored to have him as a part of… Electricity!”

He continued, “He’s someone I personally idolized as a kid and it’s one of the highlights of my life to be able to work with him, especially on a project that means so much to me. We can’t wait for fans to sit back and enjoy our film in theaters, hopefully with a huge crowd having fun together! This is how horror films are meant to be seen and enjoyed. Electricity is here to entertain!”

The film, which also stars horror icons Jeffrey Combs, Dee Wallace, Felissa Rose and Daniel Roebuck as well as Tim Reid, is about a family weekend trip that soon has deadly consequences when four killers try to cause a stir with the most creative murders of hotel guests.
