The Zionist regime made a mistake: Khamenei tweets in Hebrew, X blocks account

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s Hebrew account on the social media platform X was blocked a day after it was opened due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

The account was suspended hours after he threatened retaliation recent Israeli attack on IranHe said: “The Zionist regime has made a mistake. It was wrong in its calculations about Iran. We will ensure that it understands what kind of strength, ability, initiative and will the Iranian nation has.”

Khamenei opened the account to post in Hebrew, a language spoken in Israel, after Israel launched airstrikes on military targets in Iran on Saturday. The @Khamenei_Heb account currently shows that it has been suspended for violating X’s rules.

Khamenei’s main account on X, where he posts primarily in English and often in Hebrew, is live on the platform. He also has a separate account for posts in Arabic. Additionally, another Twitter handle “Khamenei Media” also posts his words, which are often retweeted from his main account.

On Saturday, Israel carried out airstrikes on military sites in Tehran and the surrounding areawhich resulted in the death of four Iranian soldiers. This action was in response to Iran’s recent rocket fire on Israel earlier this month.

“The evil committed by the Zionist regime (Israel) two nights ago should neither be downplayed nor exaggerated,” Iranian media quoted Khamenei as saying.

He also tweeted: “Zionists make a miscalculation regarding Iran. You don’t know Iran. They are still unable to fully understand the power, initiative and determination of the Iranian people. We have to make it clear to them that they understand “these things”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, said the Israeli airstrikes had “severely hit” Iran’s defenses and missile production.
