Let’s face it, the best foldable phones aren’t that exciting anymore. It’s been more than half a decade since the first foldables hit the market, but they haven’t been able to capture more than 2% of the overall phone market share, despite more and more players entering the competition.

What we need is a little excitement, and a completely different foldable device could soon hit the market to make a big splash. We’ve heard rumors of more advanced foldables with a tri-fold screen, and now word is it could be coming sooner than we thought.
