The “Wicked” star apologizes for allegedly snubbing the actress

Ariana Grande has apologized to the actress who plays horror icon Elvira after she accused the singer of ignoring her at a meet-and-greet.

Actress Cassandra Peterson, best known for her alter ego “Mistress of the Dark,” said Ariana Grande requested tickets for herself and family members to one of her stage shows.

She told a jury that she posed for photos and signed autographs for “all her friends and family” but that Ariana refused to pose for a photo in return and left before the performance.

In her response on Instagram, Ariana Grande said she was “disheartened” when she saw the comments and claimed she left the event early because she was “having an anxiety attack.”

In her reply to Cassandra Peterson’s postAriana said she “didn’t even remember” meeting the star.

She said the event occurred about seven years ago after her concert in Manchester was the victim of a terrorist attack.

Ariana said at the time that she was “really not good at being in crowds or noisy places.”

“But if I remember this moment incorrectly, I sincerely apologize for offending you.

“Thank you for being so kind to my mother. She told me how nice you were (she may think differently now, but I’ll talk to her… sure, we all have our days!)”

She signed “always sending love” and added, “You will always be our queen of Halloween.”

Video of Cassandra Peterson, who also appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, talking about the interaction recently went viral.

She heard laughter when someone else on stage said Ariana was playing “the wrong witch” – referring to her role as the good witch Glinda in the upcoming film adaptation of “Wicked.”

Fan-made edits of the film’s poster using AI made headlines during a recent promotional tour.

A fan edit transformed the image of Ariana and her co-star Cynthia Erivo into an animation of the two fighting.

And Photoshopped versions of the image, in which Cynthia’s eyes were removed, were also criticized by the stars.

“None of this is funny,” Cynthia said. “None of this is sweet. It humiliates me. It demeans us.”

Ariana agreed to the fan changes can go “too far”. that she has “so much respect” for Cynthia and finds the matter “very complicated.”
