NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Expect mostly clear skies, minimal chances of moisture and unseasonably warm temperatures through Monday. It will also be windy at times; Together with the very dry humidity, the risk of fire will increase again in the short term. This pattern appears to be ending as we will finally have more chances for moisture and cooling on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

On Sunday we saw sunny skies and it will be warmer with highs in the upper 70s.

Monday, mostly sunny skies and warm with highs in the upper 70s. Tuesday partly cloudy with a chance of showers; windy and cooler with highs around 72°. On Wednesday we retain cloud cover and a chance of showers before 1pm as temperatures drop even further; Highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday brings sunny skies; It will be drier with a high around 58. On Friday we will have sunny skies and it will be windy with a high around 63. Saturday mostly sunny skies and a high around 62. Partly cloudy skies next Sunday with a high around 58.
