During the Hulu reality series’ first season finale, Whitney was the only #MomTok member not to attend Mayci’s launch event for her Baby Mama brand. Mayci was upset that Whitney didn’t come to the party, especially because she was the only one in the group who was still somewhat friends with Whitney at the time.

On the show, it seemed like Mayci and the group were unaware that Whitney wouldn’t be attending the event. The girls blocked Whitney on Instagram when she didn’t show up. Now Whitney is hitting back.

On Monday, Whitney posted a TikTok video (see above) that appeared to include a screenshot of a text exchange between her and Mayci – in which she told Mayci she would not be attending her event. According to Whitney, the text was sent on March 1, while the event took place on March 5.

“I love you so much but I won’t be that close to you right now. No offense but I just need space. I’m not processing things properly lately,” Whitney reportedly wrote to Mayci. “I’m depressed, unhappy and angry all the time. I just want to be alone right now. I won’t go to your event. I don’t want to see any of them. I’m so sorry. Again, I love you and appreciate you and am grateful for you.”

According to the screenshot, Whitney continued to apologize to Mayci in follow-up messages and even sent her a bizarre poem at one point, apparently to lighten the mood. Mayci apparently only responded to some of the text messages and seemed rather curt with her replies.

Meanwhile, Mikayla took to the comments section of Whitney’s video to sharply criticize her co-star.

“Hey so this is crazy,” she wrote. “Mayci’s event was on the 5th so if my math is right it looks like you texted her before her event, acted like a bad friend and said you weren’t going to show up and support her, then you didn’t text her the day of her event or the days after, then you texted her after filming for my birthday… so good job??”

“When you’re tired of being delusional, people wait for excuses 💅,” she added.

Mikayla continued to call out Whitney in her Instagram stories, sharing a screenshot of Whitney’s TikTok video and her comments on it.

She added to her post: “One thing we will not do is victimize ourselves AGAIN💀.”

Mikayla also shared what appeared to be a screenshot of a direct message from a fan. The apparent follower initially expressed concern about Mikayla’s skin condition amid her battle with a chronic illness. However, in the next alleged message, the user criticized Mikayla for attacking Whitney and responded to her Instagram Story.

“You haven’t thought anything of it until now, you blame her and berate her while the public does the same,” the person wrote, according to Mikayla’s screenshot. “You say she’s delusional so say it. You say she’s a bad friend so think it. It’s really just a shame you’re not mature enough to think for yourself.”

Alongside the screenshot, Mikayla wrote, “Not the switch,” apparently referring to the user’s change in tone. “I saw (Whitney’s) character on this show long before the whole world and that’s the last thing I’m going to say about it 😘.”

“No one ever deserves to be hated,” she continued, “but I will continue to publicly defend my friends in videos posted for the PUBLIC, thank you.”

In another post shared on her Instagram stories, Mikayla posted a photo of herself and Mayci and wrote: “Love you @maycineely. And never forget…”

“I would never post our messages on the internet 💕🫶😇,” she added on the next slide next to another photo of her and Mayci together.

Mayci hasn’t commented directly yet, but she reposted one of Mikayla’s stories with a photo of the two together. As for Whitney, she doesn’t seem to have responded to Mikayla’s comments or posts yet.
