The Texans face Anthony Richardson and the Colts lead the NFL trolls in Week 8

Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season featured memorable placements paired with small posts.

The Houston Texans bounced back with a win over the Indianapolis Colts. The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Cincinnati Bengals on the road.

Here are the top trolls from Week 8.

In their sixth one-possession game of the season, the Texans emerged victorious after narrowly losing last week.

Trailing by three with 50 seconds left, the Colts regained possession at their own 9-yard line. Anthony Richardson pushed the Colts downfield near midfield, but with one second left in the game they failed to finish the game.

The Texans trolled the Colts — and Richardson in particular — after the win. They resurfaced a photo from earlier in the week of Richardson making Houston’s hand signals and posted a graphic of a haystack in the shape of an “L” in a horse stable.

The Atlanta Falcons’ fourth win in five weeks wasn’t easy.

Atlanta took a 31-17 lead before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stormed back to make it a one-possession game late in the fourth quarter. Younghoe Koo then missed a field goal with 1:05 left, giving Tampa Bay another chance. But they failed to score, which sealed the Falcons’ victory.

Atlanta’s win came with several trolls, including a reference to Tampa Bay’s “Creamsicle” jerseys. The Falcons interpreted Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh’s “Take Over Your Trap” for a virtual jab. They also posted an edited video of rapper DJ Khaled dancing on a boat wearing a pirate hat.

The Philadelphia Eagles took care of business on the road, securing their third straight victory with 30 unanswered points.

Jalen Hurts accounted for 273 total yards and four touchdowns, including three rushing scores. Saquon Barkley had 108 yards rushing, his fourth game with at least 100 yards this season.

The Eagles had a smart shot against the Bengals after their win.
