The Steelers-Cowboys game was delayed for a long time due to bad weather in Pittsburgh

Week 5 Football on Sunday evenings The game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t get off to a good start. In fact, as of 9:20 p.m. Eastern time, an hour after the scheduled kickoff time, there hadn’t even been a start due to the weather.

After wonderful autumn weather, storms swept through the area shortly before the start of the game. The game was postponed just as NBC was about to begin broadcasting because there was lightning in the area. As you can see from all the pictures and videos, there was more than just electricity in the air.

At some point, the power went out in downtown Pittsburgh, causing the sky to darken even further and the skyline to suddenly disappear.

At one point it even appeared to be raining hail as teams hid in the locker rooms and fans were advised to stay safe indoors.

Perfect football weather.

The game is scheduled to begin at 9:45 p.m. ET.
