The search for missing Texas mother Suzanne Simpson leads to the San Antonio landfill

As the search for missing Texas mother of four Suzanne Simpson enters its second week, authorities are searching a landfill after searching several other locations, including the woods near her home outside San Antonio.

“Currently they have moved to a location, a landfill…just outside of San Antonio. They had been there for two days…looking for evidence,” Sergeant said. Deon Cockrell of the Texas Department of Public Safety told Fox News Digital.

“We simply continue the investigation from one phase to the next. If it goes to another place tomorrow, we will go to this place tomorrow,” Cockrell added.

Simpson, a 51-year-old luxury real estate agent, was at The Argyle club in Alamo Heights before her disappearance on Oct. 6. According to police, she was seen fighting with her husband, Brad Simpson.

Authorities said they found two items of interest in the woods and recently found “possible evidence” at the Simpson home, Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas said Thursday.
