The Scorestream widget provides score updates for all local games

SCHOOLCRAFT — Looking for local Friday night football scores because you’re at another game? Then look no further as the Scorestream widget shows a live display of all our local teams in action. No need to worry about the Friday the 13th scare factor here!

I’ll be in Schoolcraft to watch the Eagles host rival Constantine on the field. The Falcons and Eagles each have a 2-0 record this season and are, once again, strong teams by the looks of things. Live updates will appear on my Twitter/X feed @bwatsonSJ if you’re interested.

On the other hand, there are plenty of big games this week, the third in MHSAA action. You can check out all the action info below in the dedicated link, which provides a solid introduction.

SOLID BASE FOR WEEK 3: Introduction to Week 3: Football reaches important point in the season

If you want to get the local results of teams from the area, the widget below is a pretty good option. If you want, you can bookmark this page or have it permanently open on your phone or computer. The local results have been updated regularly over the last two weeks and I’m sure that will be the case again this week.

It’s a little odd that almost all of the local teams in our coverage area are on the road this week. Three Rivers is the only local school hosting a game this week, and Niles is in town as two 1-1 teams meet in the Wolverine Conference. The Wildcats are battling some injuries, but could really get a boost with a win over a Viking team that is considered a conference contender this year.

If you’re looking to pass the time and are interested in cool local stories, check out the related links below as well. This story will probably become the Friday games recap late Friday night or early Saturday morning, depending on how quickly I can get the story finished and wrapped up after the games.

Since all teams except the Wildcats are on the road, it might take a long time. But that’s totally fine.
