The Rams posted a pick-six of 103 yards, the longest NFL game this season

SEATTLE – With the Seattle Seahawks in the red zone of a tied game in the fourth quarter, Los Angeles Rams rookie safety Kamren Kinchens turned the game around with a 103-yard pick-six.

On the first score from the Seattle 6, Kinchens intercepted Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith’s pass intended for Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the end zone. He took the pass out of the end zone for 103 yards for the go-ahead touchdown. Smith was pressured by linebacker Byron Young during the game.

According to ESPN Research, the 103-yard interception return for a touchdown is the longest in Rams franchise history. It was the Rams’ second goal of the season. They join the Minnesota Vikings as the only teams in the NFL with multiple pick-sixes this season.

The score gave the Rams a 20-13 lead early in the fourth quarter.

The interception was Kinchens’ first of the season. His second score came two possessions later when he again intercepted a pass from Smith in the red zone.
