The one detail at Narelda Jacobs’ wedding that pays tribute to her origins: She marries Karina Natt in a romantic ceremony

Channel 10 presenter Narelda Jacobs paid tribute to her Indigenous heritage as she married Karina Natt in a romantic wedding on Saturday.

The 48-year-old shared a short clip on Instagram showing the construction of a stunning floral arch at the ceremony.

The arch, crafted by Indigenous designer Teagan Murdock of Ngumpie Weaving, formed the centrepiece under which Narelda and Karina stood to exchange their vows.

The piece featured native flowers and feathers from an emu, a bird considered a totem animal for some Aboriginal groups.

The emu represents a sacred connection between man and nature and symbolizes resilience, strength and survival.

Narelda shared a video of the stunning arch on Instagram and wrote: “Teagan, our event manager and wedding vibe creator!”

“Thank you for designing our gorgeous wedding arch, bouquets and table flowers with native plants and emu feathers.”

Designer Teagan also shared the post and wrote: “What an honor it was to create this beautiful floral arch for @narelda_jacobs and @karinaalyce.”

In the pictures shared on Instagram, she seemed to be having a lot of fun, surrounded by friends, family and famous guests.

Narelda and her new wife each opted for white ensembles, with the TV star opting for a figure-hugging dress with fur accents by Australian luxury label Zhivago.

It clung tightly to her figure and then flowed into a romantic train, with fur details on the shoulders giving it a glamorous touch.

She added a pair of dangling earrings and opted for a bright makeup look with plum-colored lipstick.

Meanwhile, Karina also wore a dress by Zhivago, which also fit tightly to her figure and had high shoulders.

Celebrity guests included MasterChef Australia star Melissa Leong and celebrity chef Kylie Kwong.

Also in attendance were comedian Luke McGregor and his wife Dr. Amy Thunig-McGregor.
