The Bruins conclude their road trip against winless Nashville

The Bruins’ 3-2-1 start is their worst in three seasons under Jim Montgomery. They were 5-1-0 in their record 2022-23 season, winning their first six games before suffering their first loss a year ago.

“We’ve had great starts in recent years and played fast. I don’t like the pace we’re playing at right now,” Montgomery said. “I’m not worried about the results at the moment. It’s the process, and the process is not (in line with) our wishes at the moment.”

The Predators are off to their worst start in franchise history at 0-5-0, although the 2002-03 team went winless in its first seven games with one tie and two overtime losses.
