Wedding bells are ringing for Jana Duggar!

After her engagement in June, the 34-year-old 19 children and counting Alumnus has married his long-time friend Stephen Wissmann, 31.

Per People, The wedding took place on Thursday, August 15, in the Duggars’ home state of Arkansas at The Grand at Willow Springs and included 500 guests. Just two days before the big day, the reality star – who has been dating Wissmann since 2020 – told the outlet, “This is truly something I’ve dreamed of.”

The couple wanted their loved ones to be there for their special day. Jana’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, walked them down the aisle, while her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald served as maid of honor.

Four of Jana’s other sisters (Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Jordyn Duggar) and her sister-in-law Abbie Duggar served as bridesmaids.

“Since we come from two larger families, we love to come together and celebrate such moments,” said the Count on Alumnus shared, “And having them all there just means a lot to me.”

For her wedding dress, the eldest daughter of the Duggar family chose a strapless dress made of satin fabric in ivory, as can be seen in photos that People“The dress felt classy and a bit like a princess,” Jana enthused.

In terms of decor, Jana wanted a simple look. “The venue is already so beautiful and picturesque that I didn’t want to detract too much from that,” she explained.

Jana posted on Instagram PeopleCoverage of her wedding. She captioned the photo, “Thankful for God’s goodness to us!”

Fans are thrilled for the newlywed couple and were happy that Jana waited until she found “the right one” to marry. Although she was the eldest daughter, most of Jana’s younger sisters got married before her.

Another person commented: “I’m so happy for you and glad you waited to find the right one for you ❤️.”

Jana also received support from her siblings. Her sister Hannah commented: “Such a perfect day! I love you both so much!! ❤”

Her sister Jill commented: “Congratulations, sister!”

Looking to the future, Jana plans to move to Nebraska after the wedding to live with Wissmann.
