The best Patriots vs. Jaguars prop bets for NFL Week 7

The New England Patriots traveled across the pond to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in their third game at Wembley Stadium. The previous two were wins, with the Pats beating Tampa Bay in 2009 and St. Louis in 2012. Drake Maye will have a chance to pick up three wins on the ground in his second career start as the Patriots enter the contest at 5.5%. Point outsider. according to FanDuel Sportsbook

Here are some prop bets that might pique your interest for Sunday morning.

Drake Maye, over 201.5 passing yards (-113): The Jacksonville defense has allowed at least 220 yards to every quarterback not named Deshaun Watson. They rank last in terms of overtaking places allowed this season. Behind a makeshift offensive line and against a top-five pass defense, Maye still passed for 265 yards last week. I like it when he handles it easily.

Drake Maye, over 27.5 rushing yards (-113): The Jaguars play man coverage more than anyone else, and that got them into trouble against mobile quarterbacks like Josh Allen and Caleb Williams. Both rushed for over 40 yards in their matchups, making this an attractive line for Maye. The rookie ran for 38 yards against the Texans last week.

Brian Thomas Jr., under 54.5 yards (-113): I expect Jacksonville’s top wideout to see a lot of Christian Gonzales this week. Expect the second-year cornerback to perform well against the rookie wide receiver this week after struggling at times against Stefon Diggs last week. This matchup is much more favorable for him.

Longshot of the week: Bourne Again

Each week I select one or two high-odds bets that I like in this section.

Kendrick Bourne, any time TD (+550): Kendrick Bourne has made progress in his comeback from a torn ACL, playing 27 percent of offensive snaps two weeks ago and 52 percent last week. That sets him up for a bigger role this week and the veteran should be a prime target for Drake Maye.
