With their dominant performance in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chicago Bears’ offense accomplished something for the first time in over 10 years – scoring over 35 points in two consecutive games. This Bears team is firing on all cylinders right now, and it shows in the way they play.

Chicago scored 36 points in a win over the Carolina Panthers last week, giving them their second straight victory. With this win over the Jaguars, Chicago now has a season record of 4-2.

Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams appears to be bouncing back in the league after a difficult start to the season. This year, Williams has thrown for 1,091 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions.

Williams entered the NFL with the same hype as everyone else, but his first few games were an adjustment period. He has started to understand defense with more repetitions and it has shown in his performances on the field.

Chicago has one of the better offensive units in the league considering the level of talent on the field. Veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen is the Bears’ starter, with DJ Moore and Rome Odunze helping out.

The Bears could potentially push for a playoff spot if they continue this strong play. They are a team with a mission, but with a tough schedule across the board it could be a challenge.

Next week Chicago faces the Washington Commanders, followed by a trip to Arizona for a date with the Cardinals. They will then host the New England Patriots, but the brunt of their schedule is coming.

The Bears’ final eight games are against teams that could all contend for the postseason. They face the Green Bay Packers twice, the Detroit Lions twice, the Minnesota Vikings twice, the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers.

Chicago needs to make sure it builds on its record over the next few weeks if it wants to compete for the postseason. While they can beat any of these teams, especially if Williams continues his hot play, it will be difficult.

The Bears are in a good position and are confident in their chances. However, they must not let up and still have a long season ahead of them.

This team has made great progress, but the real challenges await.
