Texas A&M-Missouri “College GameDay” predictions: Who picked Aggies, Tigers?

Texas A&M Football prepares for a Top 25 battle in a big SEC home game against No. 9 Missouri.

The No. 21 Aggies (4-1, 2-0 SEC) are coming off a fourth-quarter comeback win over Arkansas 21-17 in Week 5. Quarterback Marcel Reed, who filled in for starter Conner Weigman, agreed with Tre Watson scoring a 5-yard touchdown with nine minutes left to give the Aggies the win. Weigman is a game decision.

Likewise, Missouri (4-0, 1-0 SEC) is coming off a narrow win over Vanderbilt at home, a 30-27 double-overtime victory that came when the Commodores’ kicker missed the game-winning field. Texas A&M and Missouri have met just three times as SEC opponents and 16 times total, with the Aggies leading the all-time series 9-7.

The teams moved together from the Big 12 to the SEC in 2012, likely accelerating the conference realignment that has gained momentum over the past two seasons.
