Temperatures will remain almost normal on Tuesday until school starts.

Seasonal temperatures are expected to continue throughout this week and weekend, with only minor day-to-day fluctuations.

Clouds and fog will move into some of our coastal areas overnight and early tomorrow.

Our temperatures will remain rather warm through Thursday, with slight fluctuations in most cities around us.

Overall, warm temperatures and sunny skies are expected, especially for students returning to school.

No extreme heat is expected and no weather warnings are in place for our area. However, we do expect hot weather in Paso Robles and temperatures in the 80s in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Strong winds are expected on the South Coast and Gaviota Coast overnight Monday into Tuesday. The chance of sundowner wind warnings is 30-70 percent this week, possibly extending into the Santa Ynez Valley.

A very slight cooling is expected on Tuesday.

In most areas, temperatures will be in the 5 degree range or around normal highs for the week.

Temperatures between 21 and 29 degrees are expected in coastal areas, and around 29 to 32 degrees inland.
