Amazon has now marked it down to $1,979.70 shipped. That’s $230 off our previous price, $1,020 off the regular price, and the best price we could find. This model appeared on Amazon in May and, after a few price drops, has landed at a new all-time low on Amazon as low as $2,300.

TCL’s higher-end QM85 Google Smart TV range offers a lot for your money here at a price like this. Today’s offering may not be an OLED display, but even the entry-level 77-inch variant of the Samsung 2024 Organic LED is now on the $2,300 low. This is really a really good price for $998 offbut it also underscores how remarkable today’s 85-inch model is for people who don’t need the OLED look.

TCL’s 85-inch QM85, unveiled today, features the brand’s signature “frameless” metal design with a mini-LED panel and a native refresh rate of 120 Hz (variable refresh rate 144 Hz). It offers up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, as well as low-latency Auto Game Mode (ALLM) and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology for your gaming setup, plus Wi-Fi 6, support for Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit devices.
