Kelce and Swift caused a media and fan frenzy at the start of the 2023 season when they began dating and the multiple Grammy Award winner began attending Chiefs games.

While Kansas City went 9-3 and won its second consecutive Super Bowl under Swift’s leadership, the pop star also developed his love and knowledge of the game, Kelce said.

So much so that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently said Swift designed plays.

Kelce pointed out, however, that she places some emphasis on the tight end when coordinating her offense.

“She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me,” Kelce said, “so we’ll see if they make it to Coach Reid’s office.”

Between the Super Bowl LVI win over the San Francisco 49ers and Thursday’s season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, Kelce took some time to travel.

His unforgettable performance during Swift’s Eras tour in London was unforgettable, when, wearing a top hat and tuxedo, he carried Swift across part of the stage to a heartbroken sofa.

Kelce admitted to Eisen that thanks to Swift, the preparations for his performance were not too complicated, but that did not allay his fears.

“It wasn’t much,” he said. “Taylor knew when the lights came on, I was going to have fun. She put me in a position where I didn’t have to do much to make it a success. She put me in a really enjoyable part of the show. I was just there not to mess anything up. I mentioned it (on the) New heights (Podcast), I just didn’t want to drop her when I carried her on stage.”

Kelce was ultimately inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in large part because of his ability to hold onto the ball, but he also never shied away from the big stage or from having fun.

“I’m always up for having some fun with Tay-Tay on stage,” said the three-time Super Bowl winner.

Kelce and Kansas City want to continue making history in 2024 and become the first NFL team ever to win three Super Bowls in a row.
