Just days after Taylor Swift was photographed wearing a corset and leather miniskirt on a date night in New York with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, 35, the duo made another public appearance – this time at a Yankees game.

Last night, 34-year-old Swift took a quick break from her life as the world’s richest musician (true story) to attend a ball game. (Celebrities, they’re just like us, only with box seats and next to their world-famous friend and former Golden Globes host Jerrod Carmichael.)

As Tay and Trav watched, the New York Yankees were playing the Cleveland Guardians in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. Of course, as they watched the game, I (and Swifties everywhere) observed them and their body language — and folks, you can learn a lot about a couple in nine innings.

As body language expert Darren Stanton previously told me (on behalf of Spin Genie): “The couple’s PDA was heavy for a while, holding hands and kissing in public, but that seems to have died down over time .” This was in reference to their joint appearance at the US Open in September.

And yet, lo and behold, the PDA was certainly there again (albeit subtly) at yesterday’s game. On the account of MLB

The way the couple naturally intertwines their fingers without causing much fuss clearly shows that they have reached a stable and much more comfortable level in their relationship.

As I’ve pointed out before regarding Swift’s body language at Kelce’s recent soccer game, “New love is often marked by giddiness, silliness, and wild displays of affection. We certainly got a lot of that early on from Swift and Kelce. But as their relationship has developed and matured, it appears they are in a much more grounded and comfortable place – probably a good sign for the future.”

This definitely seems to be the case, considering how casually they chatted while still maintaining physical contact during yesterday’s outing. You can see it even more clearly as they lean towards each other and Kelce gently places a hand on her shoulder.

Even their casual attire – baseball caps and comfortable clothing – shows that they have moved past the early stage of constantly having to dress up to impress the other person. (That doesn’t mean Taylor can’t still look if she wants, but you get my point.)

Fans like me have seen many versions of Swift as she evolved over the years. And now I’m glad to see that Swift and Kelce have moved beyond the initial butterflies and rainbows phase to a more mature, comfortable relationship 2.0.
