“Stop running from me”… Magomed Ankalaev takes aim at Alex Pereira after claiming victory over Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 308

Magomed Ankalaev used his UFC 308 post-fight interview as an opportunity to denounce Alex Perreira and accuse the Brazilian of “running away” from him.

The Russian is clearly the number one contender in the light heavyweight division, and his win tonight likely cements his place as the next fighter to get a shot at the belt.

Magomed Ankalaev targets Alex Pereira after victory at UFC 308

Recently, Magomed Ankalaev has had no problem venting his frustration over his inability to win a 205-pound title fight.

At the press conference earlier this week, the Russian even went so far as to say that the UFC was only forcing him to fight Aleksandar Rakić to “defend” Alex Pereira.

And while ‘Poatan’ looked absolutely great against Khalil Rountree earlier this month, Ankalaev is confident he has the skills to complete one of the greatest runs the sport has ever seen.

After picking up a unanimous decision win tonight, he used his time on the microphone in front of the fans to try to back Pereira into a corner.
