According to the agency, the forecast includes a risk of frost on Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening. Frost conditions could occur north of the Detroit metropolitan area, in the Flint, Howell, Lapeer and Saginaw areas, the agency said.

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, frost can affect plants, especially vegetable crops. If you want to protect your garden, consider covering your plants.

Conditions are expected to warm up later this week, reaching highs in the upper 70s on Friday, according to The Weather Channel.
