Snoop Dogg, 52, joined the show’s 26th season cast and has since created unforgettable moments alongside his fellow coaches, including Reba, 69. Michael Buble and long-standing mainstay of the series Gwen Stefani.

“Reba may not be as into cannabis as Snoop, but he likes her and thinks she’s cool,” the source says.

Reba even made her new friend cry in a recent episode when, after an emotional audition, she decided at the last moment to give a candidate a chance.

After completing his own interpretation of Morgan Wallen“Don’t Thank Jesus” candidate Eugene noted that none of the coaches had turned their chairs, a sign that they were happy to take the new singer under their wing for the duration of the show, although everyone complimented the young man and encouraged him to do it another season to try once.

Reba immediately regretted not turning the chair, saying, “I liked everything about it,” to which Eugene lamented that she “should have turned around.”

“I wanted to say the exact same words,” the legendary singer replied. “I don’t understand why I didn’t turn around.”

The “I’m a Survivor” singer then reversed her decision and committed to coaching Eugene, which was so touching for the hopeful contestant that she burst into tears.

Snoop Dogg shouted, “Hug this man!” and when the camera panned back to him, it showed he, too, burst into tears.

But not everyone is thrilled about their budding friendship – especially Snoop’s best friend Martha, 83.

“He gushed to Martha about Reba, who clearly can’t handle the competition,” the source says.

With the housewares queen getting on his nerves with her constant dragging, Snoop befriends his new friend Reba, who welcomes the friendship in her own, less neurotic way.

“It’s enough to make Martha grit her teeth,” the first source continues. “The thing is, Martha never learned to share. It has to come first, whether in the kitchen or in a social setting.”
